Bin Hu

Bin Hu is a Principal Member of Technical Staff at AT&T’s Domain 2.0 Architecture and Planning team. His primary focus is open source engagement, currently concentrating on open source projects related to Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Software-Defined Networks (SDN). He has been active in various roles in open source communities such as Android, and recently driving the adoption and community growth of OPNFV.

An Openstack developer and user since the Essex release, Ian works on the internals of Openstack, on applications to run on top of Openstack, and on making Openstack easy for people to use.  He is heavily involved in NFV, the work to use Openstack to provide high performance network functions for use in telco networks. | Ian works in the Office of the Cloud CTO in Cisco.
