We have a lot of experience working with earlier versions of SPDX and took the next step to explore the latest beta version of SPDX 2.0. In this case study we generate an SPDX 2.0 report for the source code of a wireless router. We share our experience and highlight the pros and cons of using SPDX 2.0 to share licensing information in the embedded software supply chain.
